David A. Gordon – President

dgprofile David retired from Merck & Co. Inc. in 2005 after a seventeen year career in the Security Department at West Point, PA where he received several Awards of Excellence for investigative management, training and job performance. While at the Katharine Gibbs School he created a six course program in the Criminal Justice Department that emphasized Private Security. He was awarded several commendations while serving as a Marine Embassy Guard at the U.S. missions in Jakarta, Indonesia and Manila, Philippines. Dave is a security professional with extensive expertise in physical security, training and investigations. He has held increasingly accountable positions in various corporate, industrial, and military environments. Dave uses his education and training in psychology and understanding of human behavior to devise and implement effective security and investigative strategies and training programs.

Michael J. Dayoc – Vice President of Investigations

mdprofile Michael retired from the Upper Dublin Township Police Department in 2007 as a Police Detective after serving twenty seven years with this agency. His duties included all aspects of criminal investigations including white collar crimes, identity theft, computer crimes, homicides, robbery, burglary and narcotics investigations. Michael was also a member of several multi-jurisdictional police task forces including Narcotics, Burglary and Gypsy Task Forces. Expert in the use of video surveillance equipment and the use of electronic devices. Michael has also received numerous Police Department commendations for criminal investigations. Upon retirement, he accepted a position with the Katharine Gibbs Schools as Department Chair of the Criminal Justice Program. While at the Katharine Gibbs School he implemented several new programs of study within the Criminal Justice Program. The Criminal Justice Program at the Gibbs School has been recognized as one of the top fifty schools in the United States in a two year college program of study.

When hiring a contract security guard firm for your company, ask what kind of training the security officers receive and how often they will attend training while working at your site. Also, ask who conducts the training and what kind of records are kept to support the training. And, ask to see the training records of the guards being assigned to your site.
